Rules
1) This futurity is for junior horses five years and under as at 1st August 2010
2)All entries to be unshown under saddle, in any discipline, as at the time of the first go round on the 6th November 2010
3) A non-refundable nomination fee of $50.00 due 15th September 2010
4) Acceptance fee of $150.00 due 20 October 2010
5) Late entry fee $250.00 Applies after the 15th September 2010
6) Prizes 1st 400.00 plus Trophy Saddle made by Maverick Saddlery valued at $5000.00 2nd $350.00 3rd $300.00 4th $250.00 5th $200.00 6th $150.00
7) A stallion service to the Stallion “Deluxe Invitation”, Owned by Peter and Tania Mapp, will be drawn from the horses that enter the arena on the first day. (Conditions apply)
8) Nominations to be accompanied by a copy of the horse’s registration form or a photo of each side of the horse for identification purposes.
9) No substitute horses
10) 70% refund of acceptance Fee on production of a veterinary certificate no later than 14th November 2010
11) Rider may be substituted on doctor’s certificate
12) Horses must compete in both go-rounds to qualify for prize money
13) Round one will be the first ridden event on the 6thth November
Round 2 will be at approximately 9.30 am on the 7th November
14) Tie breaker will be highest score in first round
15) Run under the pleasure rules of the NZWRF applicable at the time of the event.
16) Horses may be shown in other classes after the first round is completed
17) the Judge will be Lorelei Payne from Australia
18) Judges decision is final
19) Acceptance forms will be Emailed or posted to all people who nominate a horse for the futurity.
20) the Wairarapa Western Riding club reserve the right to make changes to the conditions and program if the need arises.
