Jake has been professionally trained and shown by Catherine Ladd
He has been a successful show horse from his very first show as a 3 yr where he placed 2nd in the NI Pleasure Futurity and went on to win the Adult Horsemanship. His second show saw him win the Bareback Horsemanship and Adult Horsemanship.
Waikato Show was his third Show where he won 6 out of 9 classes entered and he continued to be very competitive right through his 3 yr old year, excelling in Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship, Hunt Seat Equitation and Trail. He won the 3 yr old Pleasure Futurity at the 2009 AQHA-NZ Nationals.

Jake is a very talented horse who excels at Western Pleasure/Hunter Under Saddle , Trail, Equitation and Horsemanship and Showmanship. All this and he is still only a junior horse. He is best suited to a more confident rider who can take him to his full potential. He can take the right rider to the very top.
He is good to catch, cover, truck, shoe and dentist, he is easy to handle and travels well, he is also good to hack around the farm and down road. He has had a lot of training and showing in the curb bit so will be ready for Senior Horse as well.
